A picnic

"Este es un buen sitio. Vamos a sentarnos aquí junto a este árbol."

"This is a nice place. Let's sit here next to this tree."
"Buena idea. Así podremos comer a la sombra."

"Good idea. That way we can eat in the shade."
"Sí. Hoy el sol es muy intenso y he olvidado ponerme protección solar."

"Yes. The sun is very strong today, and I forgot to put on some sun lotion."
"Yo también. ¿Dónde pusiste la ensalada?"

"So did I. Where did you put the potato salad?"
"Está en esa bolsa de plástico marrón. ¿Puedes pasarme los platos, por favor?"

"It is in that brown plastic bag. Could you pass me the plates, please?"
"Aquí tienes. Mmm, esos bocadillos tienen muy buena pinta. ¿Qué les has puesto?"

"Here you go. Mmm, those sandwiches look really good. What did you put in them?"
"He hecho dos con jamón y queso, dos con cangrejo y mayonesa, y dos con pollo y pepino. ¿Crees que será suficiente para nosotros dos?"

"I made two with ham and cheese, two with crab and mayonnaise, and two with chicken and cucumber. Do you think it will be enough for both of us?"
"Creo que sí. No como mucho en el almuerzo. ¿Prefieres una botella de agua o una lata de CocaCola?"

"I think so, yes. I never eat much food at lunch. Would you prefer a bottle of water, or a can of Coca-Cola?"
"Tomaré agua, por favor. Vamos a comer, tenemos que estar de vuelta en casa a las tres en punto." "¿Por qué?"

"I will have some water, please. Let's eat, we have to go back home at three o'clock." "Why?"
"Porque mis padres vienen a visitarnos. Te lo dije esta mañana." "Oh, sí, ahora me acuerdo. ¡Qué lástima!"

"Because my parents are coming to visit us. I told you this morning." "Oh yes, I remember now. What a shame."
