The stolen credit card
Одному мужчине звонят из компании, работающей с кредитными картами.
A man receives a call from his Credit Card Company.
"Мы заметили нетипичные операции по Вашей кредитной карте, и звоним, чтобы проверить, всё ли в порядке."
"We have detected an unusual transactions on your card, and we are calling to see if everything is fine."
"Да," - ответил мужчина. "Мою карту украли около месяца назад."
"Yes," replied the man. "My card was stolen over a month ago."
"Почему же Вы не сообщили о том, что Вашу карту украли?"- спросил представитель компании.
"Why didn't you report your card as stolen?" asked the card company representative.
Мужчина ответил: "Тот, кто украл мою карту, тратит намного меньше, чем моя жена!"
The man replied, "Well, whoever stole my card is spending a lot less than my wife!"
