Супружеская пара праздновала шестидесятую годовщину своей свадьбы.

A married couple was celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary.

На праздновании все хотели знать, как им удалось сохранить свой брак так долго.

At the celebration everybody wanted to know how they managed to keep their marriage so long.

Муж ответил: "Когда мы поженились, мы пришли к соглашению."

The husband responded: "When we were married we came to an agreement."

"Я буду принимать все основные решения, а моя жена будет принимать все второстепенные."

"I would make all the major decisions and my wife would make all the minor decisions."

"И за шестьдесят лет нашего брака нам ни разу не пришлось принять основного решения."

"And in 60 years of marriage we have never needed to make a major decision."
