Nina: Hi Peter! Back from Thailand? Did you like it there?

Peter: Oh, it was wonderful. And I finally met my wife's parents.

Нина: Великолепно! Они живут в сельской местности, не правда ли?

Nina: Brilliant! They live in the countryside, is that right?

Пётр: Да, в Исане на северо-востоке Таиланда.

Peter: Yes, in Isan in the northeast of Thailand.

Нина: Я не думаю, что там много можно чем заняться.

Nina: I don't think that there is much to do there.

Пётр: Было интересно. Мы ходили на охоту на лягушек.

Peter: It was interesting. We went frog hunting.

Нина: Неужели? Зачем?

Nina: Really? What for?

---

Пётр: Они едят лягушек. Некоторые из этих лягушек были довольно крупными!

Peter: They eat the frogs. Some of these frogs were quite big!

Нина: Ой, бедные лягушки? И ты тоже их ел?

Nina: Oh, the poor frogs. Did you eat them too?

---

Пётр: Нет, я не мог заставить себя их есть.

Peter: No, I couldn't bring myself to eat them.
