Violent computer games
Муж: Игорь сказал, что ты не разрешаешь ему играть в компьютерные игры.
Husband: Igor said you won't let him play computer games.
Жена: Это не правда. Я просто не хочу, чтобы он играл в эти жестокие компьютерные игры.
Wife: That's not true. I just don't want him to play those violent computer games.
Муж: О какой игре ты говоришь?
Husband: What game are you talking about?
Жена: Я думаю, что она называется "Зов долга".
Wife: I think it's called "Call of Duty".
Муж: Понятно. Я тоже много играл, когда был молодой.
Husband: I see. I played a lot too when I was young.
Жена: Но игры в наши дни намного более реалистичны!
Wife: But games these days are much more realistic!
Муж: Это правда. Но нет никакого смысла запрещать ему это делать. Он пойдёт к Олегу и будет там играть.
Husband: That's true. But there is no point in forbidding him to do that. He will go to Oleg and play there.
Жена: Тогда что нам делать?
Wife: So what should we do then?
Муж: Я скажу ему, что он может играть только по одному часу в день только если он будет получать хорошие оценки в школе.
Husband: I'll tell him he can only play one hour per day and only if he will get good grades in school.
Жена: Хорошая идея!
Wife: Good idea!
