Nina: Really? Haven't switched on the radio or TV today.

Пётр: Это было самое крупное землетрясение, когда-либо зарегистрированное в Японии! Оно вызвало огромные цунами!

Peter: It was the biggest earthquake ever recorded in Japan! It triggered a huge tsunami!

Нина: О, боже! Мой брат сейчас находится в Японии.

Nina: Oh my god! My brother is in Japan at the moment.

Пётр: Где он?

Peter: Where is he?

Нина: Он в Фукуока. Это на юге Японии.

Nina: He is in Fukuoka. That's in the South of Japan.

Пётр: Землетрясение было на севере, около Сендаи.

Peter: The quake was in the North, near Sendai.

Нина: Ой, надеюсь, что у него всё в порядке. Мне надо сейчас же ему позвонить. Пока!

Nina: Oh I hope he is OK! I need to call him right now! Bye!
