Cake scare
Несколько друзей говорят о том, чего они больше всего боятся.
A few friends are talking about what they are most scared of.
Один говорит - змей, другой - пауков и так далее.
One says snakes, another one says spiders, and so on.
И, наконец, Пётр говорит, что он боится кексов.
Finally Peter says he's scared of cakes.
На следующий день друзья решают сыграть с ним злую шутку.
The next day his friends decide to play a practical joke on him.
Они покупают много кексов и запирают его с ними в комнате.
They buy lots of cakes and lock him in a room with them.
Через некоторое время они открывают дверь и видят, что он съел все кексы.
After a while, they open the door and see that he has eaten all the cakes.
Один из друзей кричит: "Ты - врун! Я думал, что ты боишься кексов! Скажи нам правду! Чего ты на самом деле боишься?"
One friend shouts: "You liar! I thought you were afraid of cakes! Tell us the truth! What are you really afraid of?"
Пётр задумывается и отвечает: "Честно говоря, я действительно очень боюсь чашку чая!"
Peter thinks for a while and says: "To be honest I'm really scared of a cup of tea!"
