The atheist
한 젊은 여성이 슬픈 표정으로 집에 돌아왔다.
A young woman came home looking sad.
그녀가 엄마에게 말했다, "Paul이 오늘 저한테 프로포즈했어요."
She told her mother, "Paul proposed to me today."
"그런데 왜 그렇게 슬퍼해?", 그녀의 엄마가 물었다.
"Then why are you so sad?" her mother asked.
"Paul이 자기는 무신론자래요. 엄마, 그 사람은 지옥이 있다는 걸 믿지 않아요!"
"Because he also mentioned he was an atheist. Mom, he doesn't believe there's hell!"
그녀의 엄마가 대답했다, "어쨌든 결혼해! 우리가 지옥을 믿지 않는 게 얼마나 잘못된건지 알려줄테니까!"
Her mother replied, "Marry him anyway! Together we'll show him how wrong he is!"
