Move to the Bermudas

Robert: 안녕 Wilma! 잘 지내? 버뮤다로 이사 간다며?

Robert: Hi Wilma! How are you? I heard you are moving to the Bermudas?

Wilma: 안녕 Robert. 응, 맞아.

Wilma: Hi Robert. Yes, it is true.

---

Robert: 그런데 너 얼마 전에 런던에 이사왔잖아!

Robert: But you just moved to London!

---

Wilma: 응 맞아!

Wilma: Yes it's right!

---

Robert: 그런데 왜 버뮤다야?

Robert: So why the Bermudas?

---

Wilma: 우리 남편 회사때문에 가는 거야.

Wilma: We have to go there because of my husband's company.

---

Robert: 그렇구나. 니 남편 아직도 보험 회사에서 일해?

Robert: I see. Your husband still works in that insurance company?

---

Wilma: 응.

Wilma: Yes.

---

Robert: 버뮤다에 가 본 적 있어?

Robert: Have you been to the Bermudas before?

---

Wilma: 응. 거기 정말 좋아.

Wilma: Yes. It is very beautiful there.

---

Robert: 정말 그렇겠다. 그런데 그렇게 작은 섬은 아마 조금 지나면 지루해지지 않을까?

Robert: I can imagine. But such a small island probably gets boring after a while.

---

Wilma: 아마 그렇겠지. 어쨌든 우리가 2-3년 이상은 지낼 수 없을 거야.

Wilma: Maybe yes. But I don't think we are allowed to stay more than 2 or 3 years anyway.

Robert: 버뮤다가 조세 피난지 맞지? 너희 남편 회사가 세금 아끼려고 하나 보다.

Robert: The Bermudas are a tax haven right? I guess your husband's company wants to save taxes.

---

Wilma: 그런 거 같아.

Wilma: It seems so yes.

---

Robert: 여기 대기업들은 세금을 안 내려고 해. 그러니까 우리 나라가 빚이 많지!

Robert: None of the big companies want to pay taxes here. No wonder our country is so indebted!

---

Wilma: 맞아! 나 이제 가봐야 돼. 치과약속 있어!

Wilma: Yes! I have to go now. Dentist appointment!

---

Robert: 그래 안녕! 남편한테 안부 전해줘!

Robert: Okay bye! Say hello to your husband!

---

Wilma: 그럴게! 안녕!

Wilma: I will! Bye!
