Scared of cakes

친구들 몇 명이 자기들이 가장 무서워 하는 것에 대해 얘기한다.

A few friends are talking about what they are most scared of.

한 사람은 뱀이라고 하고 다른 사람은 거미라고 말한다.

One says snakes, another one says spiders, and so on.

---

마지막으로 Jack이 자기는 케이크가 무섭다고 말한다.

Finally Jack says he's scared of cakes.

다음 날 친구들이 Jack에게 장난을 치기로 결정한다.

The next day his friends decide to play a practical joke on him.

---

그들은 케이크를 많이 사서 케이크와 함께 Jack을 방에 가둔다.

They buy lots of cakes and lock him in a room with them.

한참이 지나고 나서, 그들은 문을 열어 들여다보고는 Jack이 케이크를 모두 먹은 것을 발견한다.

After a while, they open the door and see that he has actually eaten all the cakes.

---

한 친구가 소리친다: "거짓말쟁이! 우리는 너가 케이크를 무서워하는 줄 알았잖아! 솔직히 말해봐! 뭐가 진짜로 무서운 거야?"

One friend shouts: "You liar! We thought you were afraid of cakes! Tell us the truth! What are you really afraid of?"

그가 잠시 생각한 후 말한다: "사실은 나 차 한 잔을 진짜 무서워 해!"

He thinks for a while and says: "To be honest I'm really scared of a cup of tea!"
