세살 된 아이가 그의 아버지에게 말했다: "고모가 저한테 아이스크림 사주셨어요."

A three year old kid says to his father: "My auntie gave me some ice cream"

아버지가 말했다: "감사하다고 말씀드렸어?"

The father says: "Did you say thank you?"

아이가 얼굴을 붉히며 말했다: "아, 잊어버렸어요."

The kid blushes and says: "Oh, I forgot."

"그럼 지금 가서 감사하다고 말씀드려!"

"Then immediately go and say thank you!"

5분 뒤 아이가 다시 돌아왔다.

Five minutes later the kid comes back.

---

"감사하다고 말씀드렸니?"

"Did you say thank you?"

---

"네. 하지만 그럴 필요가 없었어요!"

"I did. But it wasn't necessary!"

"왜?"

"Why is that?"

---

"고모가 감사할 거 없대요."

"She said: No need to thank."
