한 남자가 정신과 의사에게 가서 말했다: "저 문제가 하나 있어요. 침대에 들어갈 때마다 침대 밑에 누가 있는 거 같아요. 정말 미치겠어요!"

A man went to a psychiatrist and said: "I've got a problem. Every time I get into bed I think there is somebody under it. I'm going crazy!"

"제가 도와 드릴게요", 정신과 의사가 말했다. "일주일에 두 번씩 오세요."

"I can help you," said the psychiatrist. "Come to me two times a week."

"얼마예요?"

"How much do you charge?"

---

"한 번에 100불이에요."

"A hundred dollars per session."

---

"알겠습니다 그럼 생각해 볼게요."

"Okay let me think about it."

그 남자는 다시 돌아가지 않았다. 몇 달 뒤에 그가 길에서 정신과 의사를 만났다.

The man never went back. A few months later he met the psychiatrist in the street.

"왜 다시 안 오셨어요?", 정신과 의사가 말했다.

"Why didn't you ever come to see me again?", asked the psychiatrist.

"한 번에 100불 내려고요? 제 친구가 무료로 저 치료해줬어요!"

"For one hundred dollars a session? My friend cured me for free!"

"어떻게요?"

"How?"

---

"침대 다리를 자르라고 말해줬어요!"

"He told me to cut the legs off the bed!"
