More snow
그 해는 농부들에게 처참한 한 해였다.
It was a disastrous year for the farmers.
눈이 오고 또 와 정부가 나서서 도와야 할 지경에 이르렀다.
The snow fell and fell until the government had to step in and help.
"너무 끔찍하시겠어요," 공무원이 말했다. "이 많은 눈이 말이에요."
"It must have been terrible," said the government official to a farmer. "All that snow."
"더 나빴을 수도 있었어. 우리 이웃집은 나보다 눈이 더 많이 왔는 걸.", 농부가 태연하게 대답했다.
"Could have been worse. My neighbor had more snow than I," answered the farmer calmly.
"어떻게요?", 공무원이 물었다.
"How come?" asked the government official.
"땅이 더 많잖아", 농부가 대답했다.
"More land," replied the farmer.
