The trip to Paris

孝太郎は居酒屋で由香里に会う。

Kotaro meets Yukari in an izakaya.

孝太郎：　元気？

Kotaro: How are you?

由香里：　うん、元気よ、孝太郎は？

Yukari: Good and you?

孝太郎：　すごく元気だよ！ パリへの旅行から戻ったところなんだ。

Kotaro: Brilliant! Just back from my trip to Paris.

由香里：　旅行、どうだった？ エッフェル塔は見に行った？

Yukari: How was it? Did you see the Eiffel Tower?

孝太郎：　もちろん！ エッフェル塔は本当に大きいよ。間近に立ってみるまで気が付かないんだけどね。

Kotaro: Yes sure! The Eiffel Tower is really huge. You don't realize that until you stand in front of it.

由香里：　塔には登った？

Yukari: Did you go up the tower?

---

孝太郎：　ううん、僕は高いところは苦手なんだ！

Kotaro: No, I'm afraid of heights!

由香里：　なるほどね！ 他には何をしたの？

Yukari: I see! What else did you do?

---

孝太郎：　ルーブル美術館に行って、それからシャンゼリゼ通りにも行ったよ。

Kotaro: I went to the Louvre and then to the Champs-Élysées.

由香里：　素敵ね！ 私もパリに行ってみたいなぁ。

Yukari: Great! I want to go to Paris too.

---

孝太郎：　うん、行ってみたら？ お勧めするよ！

Kotaro: Yes, why not? I recommend it!
