ある旅客船から、小さな島の上に髭を生やした男がいるのが見える。男は、必死に両手を振りながら、何か叫んでいる。
From a passenger ship one can see a bearded man on a small island, who is shouting and desperately waving his hands.
「あれは誰ですか？」と、ある乗客は船長に尋ねた。
"Who is it?" a passenger asks the captain.
「見当もつかないよ。毎年私たちがここを通ると、彼は気がおかしくなるんだ。」
"I've no idea. Every year when we pass, he goes mad."
