70歳で大金持ちの男やもめ、橋本さんは、綺麗でとても色っぽい20歳の女性と一緒に社交クラブを訪れました。
Hashimoto-san, a 70-year-old, very wealthy widower shows up at the Country Club with a beautiful and very sexy 20-year-old woman.
社交クラブの彼の友人達はみんな、とても驚きました。
His friends at the club are all very surprised.
何より先に彼らは尋ねました。「橋本さん、こんなにかわいいガールフレンド、どうやって手に入れたんだい?」
At the very first chance, they ask, "Hashimoto-san, how'd you get this pretty girlfriend?"
橋本さんは答えました。「ガールフレンド? 彼女は僕の妻だよ。」
Hashimoto-san replies: "Girlfriend? She's my wife!"
「どんなふうに彼女を説得して結婚するように頼んだんだい？」
"How did you persuade her to marry you?"
「年をごまかしたんだ。」、と橋本さんは答えました。
"I lied about my age", Hashimoto-san replies.
「ほんの50歳だよ、って言ったのかい？」
"Did you tell her you were only 50?"
橋本さんは微笑んで答えました。「いいや、90歳だって言ったんだ。」
Hashimoto-san smiles and says, "No, I told her I was 90."
