Roberta: Ciao, Albert. Come stai?
Roberta: Hi Albert. How are you?
Albert: Benissimo. Sono appena stato a un concerto con mia moglie.
Albert: Great. I've just been to a concert with my wife.
Roberta: Chi cantava?
Roberta: Who was singing?
Albert: Laura Cantrell. Una cantante country.
Albert: Laura Cantrell. A country singer.
Roberta: Country? Pensavo ti piacesse la musica heavy metal.
Roberta: Country? I thought you like heavy metal?
Albert: Oh, di questi tempi non vado più ai concerti heavy metal. Sono follemente rumorosi. Le mie orecchie non lo tollerano più.
Albert: Oh, these days I don't go to heavy metal concerts anymore. They are so insanely loud. My ears can't take that anymore.
Roberta: Ah, ah. Hai ragione. Una volta sono andato a un concerto dei W.A.S.P e due giorni dopo avevo ancora un ronzio alle orecchie.
Roberta: Haha, yes you are right. I went to a W.A.S.P. concert once and two days later my ears were still ringing.
Albert: Esattamente. Lo stesso problema con le discoteche. Soffro ancora di acufene dopo una visita 15 anni fa.
Albert: Exactly. Same problem with nightclubs. I still have tinnitus from a visit 15 years ago.
Roberta: Allora l'acufene può diventare permanente?
Roberta: So the tinnitus can become permanent?
Albert: Sì, specialmente se vai dal dottore troppo tardi, come me. Normalmente dovresti andare dal dottore se il ronzio alle orecchie non scompare dopo 3 giorni!
Albert: Yes, especially if you go to the doctor too late like me. Normally you should go to the doctor if the ear ringing doesn't disappear after 3 days!
