The invitation

Laura: Sei stato molto carino a invitarmi a cena fuori, stasera.

Laura: It was very nice of you to invite me out for dinner tonight.
Michael: E' un piacere! Allora, in che ristorante andiamo?

Michael: It's a pleasure! So, which restaurant shall we go to?
Laura: Uhm... A me piacciono la cucina giapponese, cinese e messicana.

Laura: Uhm... I like Japanese, Chinese and Mexican food.
Michael: Capisco... A me non piace molto quella giapponese.

Michael: I see... I don't really like the Japanese one.
Laura: No? Io vado matta per il sushi!

Laura: Don't you? I'm crazy for sushi!
Michael: No, io odio il pesce! Ma quella cinese va bene! E' buona ed economica.

Michael: No, I hate fish! But the Chinese one is fine! It's good and cheap.
Laura: Sì, questo è vero! Conosco un ottimo ristorante proprio dietro l'angolo. Possiamo andarci a piedi.

Laura: Yeah, that's true! I know a very good restaurant just around the corner. We can get there on foot.
Michael: Perfetto, allora andiamo! Sto morendo di fame!

Michael: Perfect, let's go then! I'm starving!
