Peter contacts his old school friend Roman through Facebook. They chat online.
Peter: Ciao, Roman. Che bello sentirti di nuovo. Caspita, quanto tempo è passato? 10 anni?

Peter: Hi Roman. Good to talk to you again. Wow, how long has it been? 10 years?
Roman: Peter!! Sì, sono passati 10 o 11 anni da quando ci siamo incontrati per la rimpatriata scolastica.

Roman: Peter!! Yes, it's been 10 or 11 years since we met at the school reunion.
Peter: Allora, come va? Lavori sempre come allenatore per quella squadra di calcio?

Peter: So how are things? Still working as a coach for that football club?
Roman: No, non proprio.

Roman: No, not really.
Peter: Ma adoravi giocare a calcio, no? Giocavamo sempre con Rainer. A proposito, come sta Rainer?

Peter: But you loved to play football, no? We used to play with Rainer all the time. How is Rainer by the way?
Roman: Rainer? Oh, non sai cosa gli è successo? È morto nello tsunami del 2004.

Roman: Rainer? Oh, don't you know what happened to him? He died in the tsunami in 2004.
Peter: Oddio. Non lo sapevo.

Peter: Oh, my god. I didn't know that.
Roman: Era andato a "Khao Lak" con sua moglie Christine e non è più ritornato. Era il mio migliore amico.

Roman: He went to "Khao Lak" with his wife Christine and never came back. He was my best friend.
Peter: Mi dispiace tantissimo. Era un bravo ragazzo!

Peter: So sorry to hear that. He was a nice guy!
