The Plumber
Walter: Ciao, Bill! Come va?
Walter: Hey Bill! How's it going?
Bill: Oh, così e così. Ho appena pagato l'idraulico una fortuna!
Bill: Oh, so-so. Just had to pay the plumber a fortune!
Walter: Davvero? Sì, possono essere costosi.
Walter: Really? Yes they can be expensive.
Bill: Dovrei fare l'idraulico. Allora guadagnerei un sacco di soldi senza bisogno di andare all'università.
Bill: I should become a plumber. Then I would earn a lot of money and no need to go to university.
Walter: Mio zio era un idraulico e diceva che e' un lavoro duro.
Walter: My uncle was a plumber and he said it's tough work.
Bill: Davvero?
Bill: Is it?
Walter: Si, mal di schiena e dolori alle ginocchia sono problemi molto comuni.
Walter: Yes, back pain and knee problems are very common.
Bill: Capisco. È per quello che è andato in pensione?
Bill: I see. Is that why he retired?
Walter: Sì, per quello. Non aveva neppure 60 anni quando è andato in pensione.
Walter: Yes, for that reason. He wasn't even 60 when he retired.
