Simon: Yes, in Isan in the northeast of Thailand.

Rainer: Presuppongo che lì ci sia poco da fare, allora?

Rainer: Not much to do there I suppose?

Simon: It was interesting. We went frog hunting.

Rainer: Davvero? E perché?

Rainer: Really? What for?

Simon: Loro mangiano le rane. Alcune rane erano piuttosto grosse!

Simon: They eat the frogs. Some of these frogs were quite big!

Rainer: Oh, povere rane. Le hai mangiate anche tu?

Rainer: Oh, the poor frogs. Did you eat them too?

Simon: No, non ce l'ho fatta a mangiarle.

Simon: No, I couldn't bring myself to eat them.
