Carlo: Ciao Elena. Come vanno le cose?
Carl: Hi Helen. How are things?
Elena: Non tanto bene. Sto ancora vivendo da Lidia e il suo gatto ha le pulci.
Helen: Not very good. I'm still living at Lydia's and her cat has fleas.
Carlo: Bleah! Che schifo.
Carl: Yuck! How disgusting.
Elena: Sì, ho delle punture di pulci su tutti i piedi.
Helen: Yes, I have flea bites all over my feet.
Carlo: Ecco perché non ho degli animali domestici. Provocano solo problemi.
Carl: That's why I don't have pets. They are just trouble.
Elena: Esatto. Comunque voglio trasferirmi il prima possibile. Non sopporto più il gatto. Non è che dei tuoi amici hanno una stanza da affittare?
Helen: Exactly. Anyway I want to move out as soon as possible. I can't stand the cat anymore. Do any of your friends have a room for rent?
Carlo: Chiederò a Rebecca. Lei conosce molte persone.
Carl: I'll ask Rebecca. She knows a lot of people.
Elena: Grazie.
Helen: Thanks.
Carlo: Di niente.
Carl: You are welcome.
