The present indicative of the verbs of the 3rd conjugation

The present indicative is used to describe habitual actions, basic truths or an action / state of being which occurs right when we are talking or writing about it.
 
The verbs ending in -ire (3rd conjugation) in the present tense add the following endings to the verb stem: -o, -i, -e, -iamo, -ite, -ono.
 
—> Partire / to leave —> part-ire.
 
Present indicative:

- Io parto. (I leave.)
- Tu parti. (You leave.)
- Egli / Ella / Esso / Essa parte. (He / she / it leaves.)
- partiamo. (We leave.)
- Voi partite. (You leave.)
- Essi / esse partono. (They leave.)
 
Examples:

- Il treno parte da Firenze. (The train leaves from Florence.)
- Ogni volta che partite viene a piovere. (Whenever you leave this place, it starts raining.)
- Martino e Giulia partono per la montagna domani. (Martino and Giulia are off to the mountains tomorrow.)
