The solar eclipse
"Schatz, steh auf! Die Sonnenfinsternis geht bald los!"
"Darling, get up! The solar eclipse will start soon!"
"Ich glaube ich bleibe hier, laut dem Wetterbericht wird es bewölkt sein."
"I think I'll stay here, the weather report said it will be cloudy."
"Alles klar, bis später!"
"OK then, see you later!"
Zwei Stunden später ...
Two hours later ...
"Wie war die Sonnenfinsternis, Schatz?"
"How was the solar eclipse, darling?"
"Oh, ich habe nichts gesehen. Der Himmel war zu bewölkt."
"Oh, I didn't see anything. The sky was too cloudy!"
"Schade!"
"What a pity!"
"Ja, aber die Atmosphäre war trotzdem sehr gut. Viele Schulkinder waren dort und sogar ein Fernsehreporter."
"Yes, but the atmosphere was still very good. Lots of school children were there and even a TV reporter."
