Meine Nichte

My niece

"Hallo Michael! Wie geht's?"

"Hello Michael! How are you?"

"Gut! Ich habe mich um meine Nichte gekümmert."

"Good! I've been taking care of my niece."

"Wie alt ist sie?"

"How old is she?"

"Sie ist gerade sechs geworden. Ich bin mit ihr angeln gegangen."

"She just turned six. I went fishing with her."

"Hast du was gefangen?"

"Did you catch anything?"

"Ja! Aber nur einen kleinen Fisch. Meine Katze hat sich sehr gefreut!"

"Yes! But just a small fish. The cat was very pleased!"
