The burglary

Walter: Hi Samantha!

Walter: Hi Samantha!
Samantha: Hi Walter!

Samantha: Hi Walter! You won't believe what happened while we've been away on holiday. They broke into our flat!
Walter: Oh nein! Wie haben die das geschafft?

Walter: Oh no! How did they manage that?

Samantha: They came through the terrace door. My auntie who waters my plants while we are away found out and called the police. They stole our jewellery!
Walter: Um Gottes willen! Ich hoffe du bist versichert!

Walter: Oh my god! I hope you are insured!
Samantha: Ja!

Samantha: Yes! Now I need to make a list of the stolen goods.

Walter: A few weeks ago they broke into my neighbours' flat. They didn't find anything of value so they just drank their beer and ate their cake. And then stole some eggs, salt and pepper.
Samantha: Haha, sowas von lächerlich. Was sind das für Leute?

Samantha: Haha, that's pathetic. Who are these people?
Walter: Keine Ahnung! Entweder verzweifelt oder einfach nur verrückt.

Walter: No idea! Either they are desperate or just plain crazy.
