The stolen credit card
Ein Mann erhält einen Anruf von seiner Kreditkartenfirma.
A man receives a call from his Credit Card Company.
"Wir haben ein ungewöhnliches Verhalten hinsichtlich Ihrer Ausgaben entdeckt, und wir wollen überprüfen ob alles in Ordnung ist."
"Sir, we have detected an unusual pattern of spending on your card, and we are calling to see if everything is all right."
"Ja", antwortete der Mann. "Meine Karte wurde vor über einem Monat gestohlen."
"Yes," replied the man. "My card was stolen over a month ago."
"Warum haben Sie die Karte nicht als gestohlen gemeldet?", fragt der Angestellte der Kreditkartenfirma.
"Why didn't you report your card as stolen?" asked the card company representative.
Der Mann antwortete, "Nun, wer auch immer die Karte gestohlen hat, gibt weniger aus als meine Frau!"
The man replied, "Well, whoever stole my card is spending a lot less than my wife!"
