The new Thai restaurant
Adriana: Es gibt ein neues thailändisches Restaurant in der Stadtmitte. Sollen wir hingehen?
Adriana: There is a new Thai restaurant in the city centre. Should we go there tonight?
Jacob: Hmm.. weiß nicht. Ich mag kein scharfes Essen.
Jacob: Hmm.. not sure. I don't like spicy food.
Adriana: Die Frau meines Bosses ist aus Thailand. Sie sagte es ist sehr gut. Der Koch kommt aus Bangkok, deswegen sind die Gerichte sehr authentisch.
Adriana: The wife of my boss is Thai. She said it's really good. The chef is from Bangkok, so the dishes are very authentic.
Jacob: Hört sich gut an. Ich liebe "Pad Thai". Das werde ich bestellen. Normalerweise ist das nicht zu scharf.
Jacob: Sounds good. I love "Pad Thai". I'll order that. Normally that is not too spicy.
Adriana: Ich bestelle "Tom kha gai".
Adriana: I'll go for "Tom kha gai".
Jacob: Was ist das?
Jacob: What is that?
Adriana: Eine Suppe aus Kokosnussmilch, Zitronengras und Huhn.
Adriana: A soup made with coconut milk, lemon grass and chicken.
Jacob: Das will ich auch!
Jacob: I want that too!
Adriana: Zu scharf für dich!
Adriana: Too spicy for you!
Jacob: Oh, ok. Dann nicht.
Jacob: Oh, OK. Nevermind.
