Neujahrsvorsätze

New Year's resolutions

Jake: Hi Christian. Wie hast du Silvester gefeiert?

Jake: Hi Christian. How did you celebrate New Year's Eve?

Christian: Wir sind in die Berge in Österreich zum Schifahren gefahren.

Christian: We went to the mountains in Austria to ski.

Jake: Gab es dort ein Feuerwerk?

Jake: Were there any fireworks?

Christian: Nein, es war nur ein kleines Dorf.

Christian: No, it was just a small village.

Jake: Irgendwelche Neujahrsvorsätze?

Jake: Any New Year's resolutions?

Christian: Ja. Ich möchte weniger Geld ausgeben und etwas Gewicht abnehmen. Und du?

Christian: Yes. I want to spend less money and lose some weight. And you?

Jake: Keine dieses Jahr.

Jake: No, not this year.

Christian: Das klappt eh nicht.

Christian: They don't work out anyway.

Jake: Genau.

Jake: Exactly.
