The solar eclipse
"Chéri, lève-toi ! L'éclipse solaire va bientôt commencer !"
"Darling, get up! The solar eclipse will start soon!"
"Je crois que je vais rester ici, le bulletin météo a dit que ce serait nuageux."
"I think I'll stay here, the weather report said it would be cloudy."
"D'accord, à plus tard !"
"OK then, see you later!"
Deux heures plus tard...
Two hours later...
"Comment était l'éclipse solaire, chérie ?"
"How was the solar eclipse, darling?"
"Oh, je n'ai rien vu. Le ciel était trop nuageux !"
"Oh, I didn't see anything. The sky was too cloudy!"
"Quel dommage !"
"What a pity!"
"Oui, mais il y avait quand même une très bonne ambiance. Beaucoup d'écoliers étaient là et même un journaliste télé."
"Yes, but the atmosphere was still very good. Lots of school children were there and even a TV reporter."
