The new Thai restaurant
Adriana : Il y a un nouveau restaurant thaïlandais en centre-ville. On y va ce soir ?
Adriana: There is a new Thai restaurant in the city centre. Should we go there tonight?
Jacob : Hmm... Je ne sais pas. Je n'aime pas la nourriture épicée.
Jacob: Hmm.. not sure. I don't like spicy food.
Adriana : La femme de mon chef est thaïlandaise. Elle a dit que c'était très bon. Le cuisinier est de Bangkok, alors les plats sont très authentiques.
Adriana: The wife of my boss is Thai. She said it's really good. The chef is from Bangkok, so the dishes are very authentic.
Jacob : Ça a l'air bien. J'adore le "Pad Thai". Je commanderai ça. Normalement, ce n'est pas trop épicé.
Jacob: Sounds good. I love "Pad Thai". I'll order that. Normally that is not too spicy.
Adriana : Je prendrai une "Tom kha gai".
Adriana: I'll go for "Tom kha gai".
Jacob : Qu'est-ce que c'est ?
Jacob: What is that?
Adriana : Une soupe au lait de coco, à la citronnelle et au poulet.
Adriana: A soup made with coconut milk, lemongrass and chicken.
Jacob : Je veux ça aussi !
Jacob: I want that too!
Adriana : Trop épicé pour toi !
Adriana: Too spicy for you!
Jacob : Oh, d'accord. Tant pis.
Jacob: Oh, OK. Nevermind.
