The match

Bob : Tu as vu le match hier soir ?

Bob: Did you see the match last night?
Eddie : Ouais, très beau jeu. Mais l'arbitre a tout gâché.

Eddie: Yeah, great game. The referee ruined it, though.
Bob : Qu'est-ce que tu veux dire ? L'Allemagne méritait de gagner.

Bob: What do you mean? Germany deserved to win.
Eddie : Peut-être, mais il n'aurait pas dû donner ce penalty.

Eddie: Maybe, but he shouldn't have given that penalty.
Bob : Il n'a pas eu le choix. C'était manifestement un mauvais coup.

Bob: He didn't have a choice. It was an obvious foul.
Eddie : Idioties ! Qu'est-ce que tu connais au football de toute façon ?

Eddie: Rubbish! What do you know about football anyway.
Bob : Beaucoup plus que toi, ça, c'est sûr.

Bob: A lot more than you, that's for sure.
