Frog hunting
Rainer : Salut, Simon ! De retour de Thaïlande ? Comment c'était ?
Rainer: Hi Simon! Back from Thailand? How was it?
Simon : Oh, c'était bien. J'ai enfin rencontré les parents de ma femme.
Simon: Oh, it was nice. Finally met my wife's parents.
Rainer : Super ! Ils vivent à la campagne, n'est-ce pas ?
Rainer: Brilliant! They live in the countryside, right?
Simon : Oui, à Isan, au nord est de la Thaïlande.
Simon: Yes, in Isan in the northeast of Thailand.
Rainer : Il n'y a pas grand chose à faire là-bas, je suppose ?
Rainer: Not much to do there I suppose?
Simon : C'était intéressant. Nous sommes allés chasser la grenouille.
Simon: It was interesting. We went frog hunting.
Rainer : Vraiment ? Pour quoi faire ?
Rainer: Really? What for?
Simon : Ils mangent les grenouilles. Certaines de ces grenouilles étaient vraiment grosses !
Simon: They eat the frogs. Some of these frogs were quite big!
Rainer : Oh, les pauvres grenouilles ! Tu les as mangées aussi ?
Rainer: Oh, the poor frogs. Did you eat them too?
Simon : Non, je n'ai pas pu me résoudre à les manger.
Simon: No, I couldn't bring myself to eat them.
