The old lady

Un petit garçon demande à son père un dollar pour le donner à une vieille dame dans le parc.
A little boy asks his father for a dollar for an old lady in the park.
Le père est impressionné par la gentillesse de son fils et lui donne le dollar.
His father is impressed by his son's kindness and gives him a dollar.
"Voilà, fiston", dit le père.
"There you are my son," says the father.
"Dis-moi, cette vieille dame ne peut plus travailler, n'est-ce pas ?"
"Tell me, isn't the old lady able to work any more?"
"Mais si !" répond son fils. "Elle vend des bonbons !"
"But of course!" replies his son. "She sells candy!"
