"Look what I found," she says to her daughter. "A recipe for a chocolate cake."

Daughter: "Let me see. That looks very delicious and I bet it tastes very good too."

Moeder: "We kunnen samen de taart bakken."

Mother: "We can bake the cake together."

Dochter: "Hebben we alle ingrediënten?"

Daughter: "Do we have all the ingredients?"

Moeder: "Nee, ik denk het niet."

Mother: "No, I don't think so."

Dochter: "Wat moeten we nog kopen?"

Daughter: "What do we need to buy?"

Moeder: "Chocolade en slagroom."

Mother: "Chocolate and cream."

Dochter: "Ik ga nu naar de supermarkt!"

Daughter: "I will go to the supermarket right away!"
