The new class
Op een dag begroette een leraar zijn nieuwe klas.
One day a teacher was greeting his new class.
Hij ging voor de klas staan en vroeg of er iemand in de klas een idioot was. En als dat zo was, moesten ze opstaan.
He stood up in front of the class and asked if anyone in the class was an idiot, and if they were, they should stand.
Na een minuut stond er een jongen op.
After a minute a young man stood up.
De leraar vroeg de jongen of hij echt dacht dat hij een idioot was.
The professor then asked the kid if he actually thought he was an idiot.
De jongen antwoordde: "Nee, maar ik wilde niet dat u daar nog langer alleen stond."
The kid replied: "No, I just didn't want to see you standing there all by yourself"
