The match
Bob: "Heb je gisteravond de wedstrijd gezien?"
Bob: Did you see the match last night?
Eddie: "Ja, geweldige wedstrijd. De scheidsrechter bedierf het echter."
Eddie: Yeah, great game. The referee ruined it, though.
Bob: "Wat bedoel je? Duitsland verdiende het te winnen."
Bob: What do you mean? Germany deserved to win.
Eddie: "Misschien, maar hij had die strafschop niet moeten geven."
Eddie: Maybe, but he shouldn't have given that penalty.
Bob: "Hij had geen keuze. Het was een duidelijke overtreding."
Bob: He didn't have a choice. It was an obvious foul.
Eddie: "Onzin! Wat weet jij trouwens van voetbal?"
Eddie: Rubbish! What do you know about football anyway.
Bob: "Meer dan jij, dat is zeker."
Bob: A lot more than you, that's for sure.
