The good wife
A saúde do marido de Susie estava precária há várias semanas, ele ficava entrando e saindo do coma.
Susie's husband had been slipping in and out of a coma for several weeks.
As coisas estavam difíceis, mas ela passava todos os dias ao lado da cama dele.
Things looked grim, but she was by his bedside every single day.
Um dia ele fez um movimento indicando para que ela se aproximasse dele.
One day he motioned for her to come close to him.
"Sabe de uma coisa?", ele sussurrou com os olhos cheios de lágrimas, "você esteve comigo em todos os meus momentos mais difíceis".
"You know what?" he whispered with tear-filled eyes, "you have been with me through all my hardest moments."
"Quando fui despedido, você ficou do meu lado. Quando o meu negócio faliu, você estava lá".
"When I got fired, you stuck right beside me. When my business went under, there you were."
"Quando perdemos a casa, você estava lá. Quando a minha saúde começou a deteriorar, você continuava do meu lado".
"When we lost the house, you were there. When my health started failing, you were still by my side."
"E sabe de uma coisa?"
"And you know what?"
"O que querido?" ela perguntou gentilmente.
"What, dear?" she asked gently.
"Acho que você me dá azar".
"I think you're bad luck."

"I think you're bad luck."
