Jack: Oi Sally! Você viu as notícias, houve um terremoto imenso no Japão.
Jack: Hi Sally! Did you see the news, there was a huge earthquake in Japan.
Sally: Mesmo? Eu não liguei o rádio ou a TV hoje.
Sally: Really? Haven't switched on the radio or TV today.
Jack: Foi o maior terremoto já registrado no Japão! Ele provocou um tsunami imenso!
Jack: It was the biggest earthquake ever recorded in Japan! It triggered a huge tsunami!
Sally: Ah meu Deus! O meu irmão está no Japão no momento.
Sally: Oh my god! My brother is in Japan at the moment.
Jack: Onde ele está?
Jack: Where is he?
Sally: Ele está em Fukuoka, no sul do Japão.
Sally: He is in Fukuoka. That's in the South of Japan.
Jack: O terremoto foi no norte, perto de Sendai.
Jack: The quake was in the North, near Sendai.
Sally: Ah espero que ele esteja bem! Preciso ligar para ele agora! Tchau!
Sally: Oh I hope he is OK! I need to call him right now! Bye!
Jack: Está bem, tchau!
Jack: OK bye!
