"Olá. Eu gostaria de ir à Avenida Churchill número 51, por favor."
"Hello. I would like to go to 51 Churchill Avenue, please."
"Claro madame. Esse é o endereço de um hospital, não é?
"Of course, madam. That is a hospital, isn't it?"
"Sim, é sim. Vou visitar a minha sogra. Ela caiu da escada e quebrou o quadril."
"Yes, it is. I am going to visit my mother-in-law. She fell down some stairs and broke her hip."
"Sinto muito. Você faz bem em visitá-la. As pessoas em geral não gostam das sogras".
"I am sorry to hear that. It is nice of you to go and see her. People usually don't like their mothers-in-law."
"Isso é verdade, mas a minha sogra é uma mulher muito boa e gosto muito dela."
"That's true, but my mother-in-law is a very nice woman, and I like her very much."
"Eu queria que a minha sogra fosse assim. Ela é sempre tão desagradável comigo."

"That's a shame. Why do you think she doesn't like you?"

"É possível. Muitas pessoas não gostam de taxistas."
"That is possible. Many people dislike taxi drivers."

"Eu também não."
"I don't either."
