Uma jovem voltou para casa com a expressão triste.
A young woman came home looking sad.
Ela disse para sua mãe, "O Paul me pediu em casamento hoje."
She told her mother, "Paul proposed to me today."
"Então por que você está tão triste?", a mãe perguntou.
"Then why are you so sad?" her mother asked.
"Porque ele também mencionou que é ateu. Mãe, ele não acredita que exista inferno!"
"Because he also mentioned he was an atheist. Mom, he doesn't believe there's hell!"
A sua mãe respondeu: "Case-se com ele assim mesmo! Juntas nós vamos mostrar para ele o quanto está errado!"
Her mother replied, "Marry him anyway! Together we'll show him how wrong he is!"
