Emma: "Oi Jack! Tudo bem?"
Emma: "Hi Jack! How are you?"
Jack: "Oi Emma! Estou bem, mas a minha esposa está um pouco triste desde que perdeu o bebê."
Jack: "Hi Emma! I'm fine, but my wife is a bit down since she lost the baby."
Emma: "Ela estava grávida de quantas semanas?"
Emma: "How many weeks was she pregnant?"
Jack: "Oito semanas, e o coração simplesmente parou de bater."
Jack: "Eight weeks. Then the heart just stopped beating."
Emma: "Ah, muito triste mesmo. Compre flores para ela para animá-la!"
Emma: "Oh, sad really. Buy her flowers to cheer her up!"
Jack: "Ah, ela não é do tipo de mulher que gosta de flores."
Jack: "Oh, she's not the sort of woman who likes flowers."
Emma: "Compre flores para ela!"
Emma: "Buy her flowers!"
Um dia depois. Jack se encontra com Emma no corredor no trabalho.
One day later. Jack meets Emma in the corridor at work.
Jack: "Funcionou!"
Jack: "It worked!"
Emma sorri e diz: "Viu!"
Emma smiles and says: "You see!"
