Stefan: Ele tem 12.

Stefan: He is 12.

Oliver: O meu primo tem diabetes, mas ele tem mais de 40 e é obeso.

Oliver: My cousin has diabetes. But he is over 40 and overweight.

Stefan: O meu filho tem diabete tipo 1. O seu primo provavelmente tem tipo 2.

Stefan: My son has type 1 diabetes. Your cousin probably has type 2 diabetes.

Oliver: Certo. E qual é a diferença?

Oliver: Right. And what is the difference?

---

Stefan: Bem, a diabete tipo 2 não tem nada a ver com falta de exercício, é uma doença autoimune.

Stefan: Well, type 2 diabetes has nothing to do with lack of exercise. It is an autoimmune disease.

Oliver: Então basicamente é falta de sorte?

Oliver: So basically just bad luck?

---

Stefan: Sim. Meu foco agora é ajudar o meu filho a melhorar.

Stefan: Yes. Right now I'm focusing on helping my son get better.
