Susan: Acabei de falar com a minha prima, ela está grávida de novo!
Susan: I just talked to my cousin, she is pregnant again!
Jacky: Mesmo? Ela teve um bebê no ano passado, né?
Jack: Really? She had a baby last year, no?
Susan: Sim, mas não por inseminação artificial desta vez.
Susan: Yes, but this time it's not by artificial insemination.
Jack: Ah, é um milagre.
Jack: Oh, it's a miracle.
Susan: Sim, ela ficou muito surpresa. O médico chinês dela sabia que ela estava grávida só de sentir o pulso dela.
Susan: Yes, she was very surprised. Her Chinese doctor could tell she was pregnant by feeling her pulse.
Jack: É possível?

Susan: Sim. Soa estranho para os ocidentais, mas na medicina tradicional asiática sentir o pulso é uma prática diagnóstica comum.
Susan: Yes. For Western people it seems strange, but in Asian traditional medicine feeling the pulse to diagnose a patient is common.
