Bottom Consonants

Consonants that are located on the bottom are pronounced differently from those that are located in the beginning.

ㄱ, ㅋ, ㄲ        on the bottom sound like [k]
ㄷ, ㅌ, ㄸ        on the bottom sound like [t]
ㅅ, ㅆ, ㅈ, ㅉ, ㅊ  on the bottom sound like [t]
ㅂ, ㅍ              on the bottom sound like [p]
o                     on the bottom sound like [ng]

Here are some examples:

각 [gak] 닦 [dak] 
닫 [dat] 밭 [bat]
춧 [choot] 쫓 [jot]
밥 [bap]
강 [gang]
