Jack: Hi Melanie and Hugh! Back from Thailand?
Jack: ¡Hola, Melanie y Hugh! ¿Habéis vuelto de Tailandia?
Melanie: Thailand? Oh no, we've been to Taiwan this time.
Melanie: ¿Tailandia? No, esta vez hemos estado en Taiwán.
Jack: I see. How was it?
Jack: Ya veo. ¿Cómo fue?
Hugh: It was nice. We went to a couple of temples and night markets.
Hugh: Fue bien. Hemos estado en un par de templos y mercados nocturnos.
Jack: Sounds nice.
Jack: Suena bien.
Melanie: Yes, but what I didn't like about Taiwan was the insane traffic and the stray dogs on the streets.
Melanie: Sí, pero lo que no me ha gustado de Taiwán es el tráfico de locos y los perros abandonados por las calles.
Jack: Really? I saw a stray dog in Spain once. He was following me around for a while.
Jack: ¿En serio? Una vez vi un perro callejero en España. Me siguió durante un rato.
Melanie: They seem to be a real problem in some countries!
Melanie: ¡Al parecer, en algunos países son un auténtico problema!
Hugh: I read once that a mayor of some Eastern European town fed the stray dogs to the lions in the zoo!
Hugh: ¡He leído que un alcalde de una ciudad rumana daba de comer perros callejeros a los leones del zoo!
Jack: Oh my god! That's brutal!
Jack: ¡Dios mío! ¡Eso es brutal!
