Medo de bolo
A few friends are talking about what they are most scared of.
Alguns amigos estão falando sobre o que mais têm medo.
One says snakes, another one says spiders, and so on.
Um diz que tem medo de cobras, outro diz que tem medo de aranhas e etc.
Finally Jack says he's scared of cakes.
Finalmente, Jack diz que tem medo de bolos.
The next day his friends decide to play a practical joke on him.
No dia seguinte os seus amigos decidem pregar uma peça nele.
They buy lots of cakes and lock him in a room with them.
Eles compram vários bolos e o trancam em um quarto com eles.
After a while, they open the door and see that he has actually eaten all the cakes.
Após um tempo, eles abrem a porta e vêem que ele comeu todos os bolos.
One friend shouts: "You liar! I thought you were afraid of cakes! Tell us the truth! What are you really afraid of?"
Um amigo grita: "Mentiroso! Achei que você tivesse medo de bolos! Fale a verdade! Do que você tem medo de verdade?"
He thinks for a while and says: "To be honest I'm really scared of a cup of tea!"
Ele pensa um pouco e diz: "Para ser sincero, eu tenho medo mesmo é de xícaras de chá!"
