Jannie besøger sine forældre.
Jackie visits her parents.
Jannie: Hej, mor! Hvordan har du det?
Jackie: Hi Mom! How are you?
Jannies mor: Jeg har det fint. Bortset fra rygsmerterne.
Jackie's mother: I'm OK. Apart from the back pains.
Jannie: Hvordan har far det? Nyder han sin pensionisttilværelse?
Jackie: How is Dad? Enjoying his retirement?
Jannies mor: Han har det fint. Siden han fandt ud af, at der ligger mange madlavningsvideoer på YouTube, har han hele tiden prøvet nye opskrifter af.
Jackie's mother: He's fine. Since he's found out that there are many cooking videos on YouTube he's been trying out recipes all the time.
Jannie: Det, synes jeg, er fantastisk!
Jackie: I think it's great!
Jannies mor: Altså... det kommer an på. Nogle gange er hans retter næsten ikke spiselige!
Jackie's mother: Well... depends. Sometimes his dishes are hardly edible!
Jannie: Ha ha. Er han ude i køkkenet nu?
Jackie: Haha. Is he in the kitchen now?
Jannies mor: Ja.
Jackie's mother: Yes.
Jannie går ind i køkkenet.
Jackie goes into the kitchen.
Jannie: Hej, far!
Jackie: Hi Dad!
Jannies far: Hej, skat!
Jackie's father: Hi darling!
Jannie: Hvad laver du?
Jackie: What are you cooking?
Jannies far: En italiensk ret, der hedder "Calzone".
Jackie's dad: An Italian dish called "Calzone".
Jannie: Hvad er det?
Jackie: What is that?
Jannies far: Dybest set er det en foldet pizza.
Jackie's father: Basically it's a folded pizza.
Jannie: Javel.
Jackie: I see.
Jannies far: Vil du være sød at dække bordet?
Jackie's father: Can you set the table please?
Jannie dækker bordet og spiser bagefter sammen med sine forældre.
Jackie sets the table and afterwards eats together with her parents.
