Fiona: Hvad arbejder du med?

Fiona: What is your occupation?

Jack: Jeg er politimand.

Jack: I'm a police officer.

Fiona: Er det rigtigt? Det må være spændende!

Fiona: Really? That must be exciting!

Jack: Altså, ikke altid. Der er meget papirarbejde.

Jack: Well, not always. There is a lot of paperwork to do.

Fiona: Hvor længe har du været politimand?

Fiona: How long have you been a police officer?

Jack: Mere end 20 år.

Jack: More than 20 years.

---

Fiona: Det er længe. Har dit job ændret dig personligt?

Fiona: That's a long time. Has your job changed you personally?

---

Jack: Ja. Jeg drikker kun alkohol i moderate mængder nu, fordi jeg har set, hvor mange menneskers liv, der er blevet ødelagt på grund af det.

Jack: Yes. I only drink alcohol in moderation now, because I've seen how many people's lives have been destroyed because of it.

Fiona: Er det så slemt?

Fiona: So bad?

---

Jack: Ja, desværre! Du kunne sikkert halvere politistyrken, hvis ikke det var for alkohol.

Jack: Yes, unfortunately! You probably could cut the police force by half if it wasn't for alcohol.

Fiona: Jeg tror, jeg tager den alkoholfri mojito så!

Fiona: I guess I'll get the non-alcoholic mojito then!

Jack: God beslutning!

Jack: Good decision!
