The Poem of Tao's Realisation - Tang dynasty, Buddhist nun, Wu Jin Zang

終日尋春不見春,
终日寻春不见春,

zhōng rì xún chūn bú jiàn chūn,

ㄓㄨㄥ ㄖˋ ㄒㄩㄣˊ ㄔㄨㄣ ㄅㄨˊ ㄐㄧㄢˋ ㄔㄨㄣ,

All day long I looked in vain for spring.
芒鞋踏破嶺頭雲。
芒鞋踏破岭头云。

máng xié tà pò lǐng tóu yún.

ㄇㄤˊ ㄒㄧㄝˊ ㄊㄚˋ ㄆㄛˋ ㄌㄧㄥˇ ㄊㄡˊ ㄩㄣˊ.

My straw shoes trod through all the mountains and clouds.
歸來偶把梅花嗅,
归来偶把梅花嗅,

guī lái ǒu bǎ méi huā xiù,

ㄍㄨㄟ ㄌㄞˊ ㄡˇ ㄅㄚˇ ㄇㄟˊ ㄏㄨㄚ ㄒㄧㄡˋ,

Returning home, unexpectedly I smelled the plum blossoms.
春在枝頭已十分
春在枝头已十分

chūn zài zhī tóu yǐ shí fēn

ㄔㄨㄣ ㄗㄞˋ ㄓ ㄊㄡˊ ㄧˇ ㄕˊ ㄈㄣ

The spring was already here in its fullness on the sprig.
